When Cardinal returns, a third body turns up with a bullet from the same gun that shot the redhead. Not so for Blunt; he populates his novel with vivid and complex characters. Keith was having a drink when he encountered Eddie Soames and Eric Fraser. Edie wasn't thrilled with it at first but she was just happy that Eric was happy.
